Speaking on the occasion, Professor Gyanu Adhikari said that the novel is a reader-friendly one. Stating that the male psychology in the novel is well explored, she mentioned that even though the male character is the protagonist, the female characters in the novel are shown courageous and those who fight for their survival.

Similarly, according to Mukarung, Dr Acharya has honestly and in simple language shown the good and the bad that revolves around one's life in our society, whereas most writings depict only an ideal life. Poudyal said that the novel is very readable though he has mostly used slang language in the novel.

This is Acharya's first novel in the Nepali language and his second after the English novel 'Running from the Dreamland'. His English non-fiction book ‘Sex, Gender and Disability’ has also been published. The novel is published by Phoenix Books.
