Double delight for host Pushpa Sadan

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: Both senior and junior teams of host Pushpa Sadan School emerged victorious in the Second Pushpa Sadan Cup Valleywide Inter School Basketball Tournament on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: Both senior and junior teams of host Pushpa Sadan School emerged victorious in the Second Pushpa Sadan Cup Valleywide Inter School Basketball Tournament on Sunday.



In the group stage match of the senior boys' section, Pushpa Sadan edged past Swornim 41-17 riding on 11 points of Pratik Shreshta.



Similarly, the same teams vied in the junior category which saw the host record 32-14 win.



Rojin Maharjan top scored with 10 points in Pushpa Sadan's win. In another junior category match, Neric saw off Greenfield 27-17 as Madan Bhandari contributed 13 points for the winning team.



In other matches of the senior category, Bright Horizon, Ideal Model, Gyanodaya, LRI and Greenfield emerged victorious.
