KATHMANDU, Oct 24: The Ministry of Home Affairs has warned the public not to organize Deusi/Bhailo programs during the Tihar festival after 10 pm.
A press statement issued by the ministry on Monday has also requested the Tihar and Chhath celebrators not to produce, import, export, sell and distribute, transport or use fire crackers. It also said that the use of these explosive materials will have adverse effect on the health of the people, result in injuries and cause damage to life and poverty due to fire outbreak.
“We appeal to all to organize Deusi/Bhailo before 10 pm,” reads the statement.
