Demanding quality education, students vandalize college

PALPA, Dec 17: Students of Palpa Engineering College burned tyres and vandalized the compound premise and infrastructure after the administration turned a deaf ear to their demands.

PALPA, Dec 17: Students of Palpa Engineering College burned tyres and vandalized the compound premise and infrastructure after the administration turned a deaf ear to their demands.



“We had submitted a 8 point demand paper requesting immediate availability of practical equipments, educational tours, regular classes and extracurricular activities, new educational resources and end of rueful staff behavior,” Pramod Adhikari, leader of Nepal Student Union said.

Adhikari said that they were forced to resort to violence after the college administration turned a deaf ear to their demands of quality education. “Instead, the college is more focused to earn money.”  


However, the College Administration said that they couldn’t meet all demands in a go, and they were doing their best to address rightful demands.
