KATHMANDU, April 1: The District Administration Office, Kathmandu has directed Village Tourism Promotion Forum (VITOF) Nepal to halt its annual general assembly and election that was scheduled to take place on April 2.
The DAO directed to defer the assembly and election as Jusfa Pandey, general secretary of the VITOF Nepal filed a complaint for barring her from contesting election this year. Meanwhile, the DAO has called the coordinator of the election committee to hold discussion on the matter today.
