KATHMANDU, Dec 14: A person punched CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli in Dhankuta on Thursday. Oli was participating in the ‘Resolution Journey’ organized by the party along the central hilly highway.
After entering Dhankuta from Bhojpur, Oli was punched by the youth in Mahalakshmi Municipality-5, Legua. The youth who landed the punch on Oli has been identified as Mahesh Rai from Leguwa.

Rai, who was standing in line to welcome Oli, approached Oli and punched him.
After throwing a punch, Rai was caught by the security personnel and the UML cadres.
