CPN's Standing Committee meeting on Saturday

KATHMANDU, Dec 14: The third Standing Committee meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) is taking place Saturday, tomorrow at the party central office, Dhumbarahi.

KATHMANDU, Dec 14: The third Standing Committee meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) is taking place Saturday, tomorrow at the party central office, Dhumbarahi.



According to party central member Krishna Gopal Shrestha, the endorsement of decisions made by the Secretariat meeting and discussions about government activities, unification issues at the lower level and contemporary issues are the agenda of the meeting scheduled for 1:00 pm.

The previous Standing Committee meeting was held in July. The party leadership was being criticised for being unable to hold the Standing Committee meeting for long in the aftermath of the unification between two leftist parties to form the present one.


The tomorrow's meeting is expected to finalise the issues regarding the unification of party's wings and district committees. RSS
