CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) against demarcation of provincial boundaries

KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) led by Mohan Baidya has taken an exception to some subjects of the constitution amendment proposal that was registered in Parliament on Tuesday, including demarcation of provincial boundaries.

KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) led by Mohan Baidya has taken an exception to some subjects of the constitution amendment proposal that was registered in Parliament on Tuesday, including demarcation of provincial boundaries.



Issuing a statement today, Baidya viewed that the demarcation problem should be resolved with suggestions of and in agreement with all political parties and people of respective areas.

CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) would support all forms of protests and demands raised by people against the delineation, the statement said.


The press release also demanded that an federal people's republic constitution should replace the existing constitution as it has been promulgated 'against wishes and aspirations of the people'. RSS
