LAHAN, Aug 11: A COVID-19 patient undergoing treatment at the Provincial COVID-19 Hospital, Janakpur, died on Monday night.
The deceased was a 60 years old man from Bidesh Municipality, Dhanusha.
After having chest pain, the elderly who had tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) ten days ago, was admitted to the hospital.

“He was also a patient of Tuberculosis and died last night while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital,” said Dr Jamuna Prasad Singh.
The Provincial COVID-19 Hospital has 42 beds. However, 53 COVID-19 patients are currently undergoing treatment there. Thirty-six of the 53 are symptomatic COVID-19 patients.
So far, 29 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Province 2.
