KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The Supreme Court has decided to give a nationwide holiday to courts to mourn the death of former Chief Justice Mohan Prasad Sharma.

KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The Supreme Court has decided to give a nationwide holiday to courts to mourn the death of former Chief Justice Mohan Prasad Sharma.



A plenary session of the apex court on Saturday decided to grant holiday to all courts across the country on Sunday to mourn over Sharma's death.

According to a notice published by the apex court, Sharma had made invaluable contributions during his tenure to establish the values ​​of an independent judiciary and to the development of the justice and law sector in Nepal.
