KATHMANDU, March 11: The Council of Ministers has recommended President Ram Chandra Poudel to dismiss three provincial chiefs and appoint new provincial chiefs.

Following the change in the political equation at the federal level, the cabinet convened at Singha Durbar on Monday recommended to the president the removal of the chiefs of Madhesh, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Government spokesperson Rekha Sharma announced that the cabinet has decided to propose the appointment of Sumitra Bhandari in Madhesh Province, Dilliraj Bhatta in Gandaki Province, and Nazir Mia in Sudurpaschim Province.
