KATHMANDU, April 3: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against Devi Lal Jaisi, the then ward secretary of Chodagad Municipality-12 of Jajarkot, on the charge of misappropriation of social security allowance.

The anti-graft body has claimed that he embezzled Rs 2,73,400 by setting up fake beneficiaries while distributing the social security allowance for the first, second and third quarters of the financial year 2075/076 BS.
Spokesperson Bhola Dahal said that the CIAA has also filed a corruption case against Ratna Bahadur Karki, administrative assistant of Chedagad municipality-12 Ward Office.
