Communication Minister Gurung is new govt spokesperson

KATHMANDU, Oct 19: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Parbat Gurung has been named the government spokesperson.



A Cabinet meeting held on October 14 designated Minister Gurung as the government spokesperson replacing Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, who was entrusted with the responsibility on September 15.

Minister Gurung’s portfolio was changed to the communication ministry from the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens during a cabinet reshuffle on October 14.
