CM Pandey and two other ministers of Gandaki Province take oath of office and secrecy

KATHMANDU, May 29: Newly-appointed Chief Minister (CM) of Gandaki Province Surendra Raj Pandey has taken the oath of office and secrecy.

KATHMANDU, May 29: Newly-appointed Chief Minister (CM) of Gandaki Province Surendra Raj Pandey has taken the oath of office and secrecy.



According to Article 168 (3) of the Constitution, Pandey, who was appointed as the CM following the Supreme Court's order, was administered the oath by the province chief Dilliraj Bhatta.

Along with Pandey, two ministers also took oath. Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Bindu Kumar Thapa and Dr Tekraj Gurung also took the oath of office on Wednesday.


Gurung has been appointed as the Minister for Finance in the provincial government and Thapa has got the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Water Supply along with the Ministry of Social Development.
