CJ Rana should step down to prevent further loss of judiciary’s credibility: Bhimarjun Acharya

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Senior advocate Bhimarjun Acharya has said that Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana should resign from the post to prevent further loss of the credibility of the country’s judiciary.

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Senior advocate Bhimarjun Acharya has said that Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana should resign from the post to prevent further loss of the credibility of the country’s judiciary. 



Speaking at a program organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) on Tuesday, senior advocate Acharya said that Chief Justice Rana should step down as his behavior has not improved despite being given many chances in the past.

Acharya also said that there has never been such corruption and irregularities in the judiciary. He accused the chief justice of forming factions in the judiciary and looking into the issues that serve his personal interests.
