Cinema halls open with 'Chapali Height 3' and ‘Kathaputali’

After closing down for 27 days due to COVID 19, cinema halls have reopened from Sunday. Two Nepali films, ‘Chapali Height 3’ and ‘Kathaputali’ are being screened. These films have got a second chance to be showcased.

After closing down for 27 days due to COVID 19, cinema halls have reopened from Sunday. Two Nepali films, ‘Chapali Height 3’ and ‘Kathaputali’ are being screened. These films have got a second chance to be showcased.

'Chapali Height 3' is a suspense thriller directed by Nikesh Khadka. The film stars Swastima Khadka, Amir Gautam, Arpan Thapa, Supuspa Bhatt, Mahesh Tripathi, and Pratik Man Shrestha. The movie was released three days before the administration decided to close cinema halls on 17 January 2022.


Similarly, the horror movie ‘Kathaputali’ directed by Veemsen Lama has also hit the hall. Starring Mithila Sharma, Usha Rajak, Karma, Shilpa Maskey, and others, the film did well in its first week of release. The film was released on 31 December 2021.
