ILLAM, July 18: A one-and-a-half-year-old boy died after being hit by a pick-up truck in Suryodaya Municipality-4, Antu, Illam.
Rian, the 20-month-old son of local Dhiraj Rijal, died when a vehicle crushed him near his house, police said.

Rian was crushed by a pickup vehicle (Me 1 Ja 362). According to the District Police Office, Rian was declared dead after being taken to the health post for treatment due to a serious head injury.
The pick-up vehicle driver, Rajan Magar, 26, has been detained by the police.
