Looks like Zayn Malik of One Direction fame has competition. Even though Malik may have bagged the Sexiest Asian Men title for the second time in a row but Arshad Khan has made a surprise appearance on the list.
The poll that was conducted by Eastern Eye – a London-based weekly publication – also named Deepika Padukone as the Sexiest Asian Woman of 2016, reported India Today.

Khan is also known as ‘chai wala’ has been ranked 31 in the list that also includes the likes of Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh. Khan, whose picture went viral earlier this year, was reportedly the first Editor’s Choice entry in the contest where the final verdict is decided on the basis of social media appeal.
“He has since been plucked from obscurity and gained global media attention along with a new career in modelling. He makes the list for representing the everyday man and for showing an impossible dream can come,” Asjad Nazir, of Eastern Eye told the Indian media.
After making his runway debut at the Bridal Couture Week (BCW) 2016, Khan has also made his first appearance in a music video. A music video titled ‘Chai wala’ by Lil Mafia Mundeer, a duo based in Lahore, has been making rounds on social media and features Khan as the lead model.
