Central Zoo to remain closed on election day

KATHMANDU, November 18: Jawlakhel-based Central Zoo will be closed during the House of Representatives and Province Assembly elections to be held on November 20.

KATHMANDU, November 18: Jawlakhel-based Central Zoo will be closed during the House of Representatives and Province Assembly elections to be held on November 20.

Lina Chalise, information officer of the zoo, informed that the zoo will be closed during the elections.


The government has announced public holidays on November 20 and 21 for the election. Similarly, on the election day, vehicles other than essential vehicles will not be allowed to ply the roads in Kathmandu Valley.
