Celebrating 2nd World Cycle Day

To mark the 2nd World Cycle Day, Nepal Cycle Society, in support with Lalitpur Metropolitan City hosted the cycle rally on Saturday morning.

To mark the 2nd World Cycle Day, Nepal Cycle Society, in support with Lalitpur Metropolitan City hosted the cycle rally on Saturday morning.

The rally was inaugurated by Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Member of Federal Parliament and the Adviser of The Nepal Cycle Society. Around 350 cyclists had participated the event themed #UrbanCycling   #SaferCycling #RoadSafety #CycleLane

After commencing from Basantapur, the rally travelled through Jamal, Durbarmarg, Lainchaur, Uttar Dhoka ,Gairidhara and concluded at Patan Durbar Square.

Chief Guest for the program was Satya Mohan Joshi. While other Guests included Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan, Mayor Padma Sundar Shakya, IGP Sarbendra Khanal, SSP Basant Pant, and other respected personalities.
