KATHMANDU, Sept 27: A Cabinet meeting is currently underway at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence in Baluwatar, according to Surya Thapa, the prime minister’s press advisor.



Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is convening the Cabinet meeting after he held a meeting with the executive chairperson of the ruling Nepal Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal earlier today.

The duo held discussions on the proposed Cabinet reshuffle, according to Dahal’s press advisor Bishnu Sapkota. However, they are yet to forge consensus on the names of NCP leaders to be inducted as ministers in the Oli-led government, Sapkota said.
