Cabinet meeting begins, discussion on election date

KATHMANDU, August 4: A meeting of the Council of Ministers has started in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu. Today's meeting is likely to decide the dates of the upcoming House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections.

KATHMANDU, August 4: A meeting of the Council of Ministers has started in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu. Today's meeting is likely to decide the dates of the upcoming House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections.

Cabinet meeting today, election date likely to be announced


In a meeting of the ruling coalition on Wednesday, an agreement was reached to hold the election on November 4. The Election Commission had suggested the government hold the election on November 18, but the government is preparing to hold the election on November 20.
