MORANG, Sept 17: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, has said that the budget holiday would not remain for long.

MORANG, Sept 17: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, has said that the budget holiday would not remain for long. 



Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport on Friday, Minister Karki expressed confidence that the stalemate seen in the parliament would be resolved on the basis of political consensus and the budget would come into implementation.

A meeting was held with the senior leaders as well as Chairman of the main opposition party, CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli on Thursday. Minister Karki said that the opposition party has been urged to help pass the necessary ordinances through parliament.


Minister Karki added that consensus and collaboration are a must for sustainable peace and prosperity in the country. Responding to a query, he said that MCC should not be politicized as it is a development project.
