RAUTAHAT, July 31: Two siblings drowned in a ditch at a brick kiln in Chandrapur municipality-8, Dumariya, on Wednesday. The deceased have been identified as Anis Shah, 11, and his eight-year-old sister Kalpana Sah.

The deceased were children of Sanjay Sah of Haripur municipality-4 of Sarlahi district, currently living at Dumariya, according to the Area Police Office, Chandranigahapur.
The Sah family runs a motorcycle garage at Dumariya. The incident took place when they were playing near the ditch, said police. The bodies have been kept at Chandranigahapur Hospital for a post-mortem.
