Boy arrested attempting break-in at a gold shop in Pokhara

KATHMANDU, Nov 26: An 18-year-old boy from Rupa Rural Municipality was apprehended on Saturday night for attempting to break into a gold shop in Pokhara. The incident occurred around midnight when the teenager was caught in the act of cutting the lock of the shutters at Syangja Jewelers and Gold and Silver shop in New Road-9, Pokhara.

KATHMANDU, Nov 26: An 18-year-old boy from Rupa Rural Municipality was apprehended on Saturday night for attempting to break into a gold shop in Pokhara. The incident occurred around midnight when the teenager was caught in the act of cutting the lock of the shutters at Syangja Jewelers and Gold and Silver shop in New Road-9, Pokhara.



He was taken into custody by a team deployed from Ward Police Office, Baidam. Information Officer of the District Police Office, Kaski, Shrawan Kumar BK, said that 2 hacksaw blades and a lock which has been cut were seized from that boy.

The police are currently interrogating the boy as a part of an investigation into the case.
