KATHMANDU, Sept 30: A woman's body was found in the Bagmati River at New Baneshwor in Kathmandu on Thursday. According to Police Inspector at Metropolitan Police Range Office, Baneshwor, Keshar Neupane, the body was found on the bank of Bagmati River near Baneshwor campus.

According to him, the body was found in a semi-naked condition. “It seemed like the body was washed away by the river and got stuck on the iron bridge,” he said. The body has been sent to T.U. Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for postmortem.
