KATHMANDU, Oct 27: Members of the Bibeksheel Sajha Party staged a demonstration in Maitighar, Kathmandu, today following the controversy surrounding Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana.
Stating that political parties have influenced the independence of the judiciary, members of the party hit the streets carrying placards with messages such as ‘Politicians, stop influencing the judiciary’ ‘Respect the independence of the judiciary'. They also demanded the resignation of Chief Justice Rana.
