JHAPA, Feb 15: A Bhutanese refugee living in the United States of America has been killed in a road accident.

The deceased has been identified as Rudra Bahadur Rai, 49. The accident had occurred when three cars including the one Rai was driving at that time collided at around 11.30 pm on Monday night as per the local time , killing Rai, said Jitu Basnet, one of Rai's friend living in the US.
Rai had been living in a refugee camp at Beldangi in Damak before leaving for the US under the third country resettlement program initiated by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). RSS
