KATHMANDU, May 17: Dr Bhupendra Kumar Basnet has been appointed the Officiating Vice Chancellor of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS).
Similarly, Dr Sanjaya Thakur has been appointed to the post of the director of the National Centre for AIDS and STDs Control while Dr Prajwal Shrestha has been appointed the director of the National Tuberculosis Centre.

These appointments were made by a ministerial-level decision of Minister for Health and Population Mohan Bahadur Basnet, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
