Bangladeshi Minister arriving in KTM to probe US-Bangla air crash

KATHMANDU, Mar 13: Following yesterday’s ill-fated US-Bangla airplane crash, a high level team led by Bangladesh’s Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism, AKM Sahajahan Kamal is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu today.

KATHMANDU, Mar 13: Following yesterday’s ill-fated US-Bangla airplane crash, a high level team led by Bangladesh’s Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism, AKM Sahajahan Kamal is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu today, a source said.



The team, comprising Bangladesh’s security personals will inquire on the crash that killed 49 people and injured 22. Those injured are undergoing treatment at KMC Hospital, Norvic Hospital and Om Hospital.

Meanwhile, issuing a press release, the SAARC Secretariat conveyed sincere condolences to the people and Governments of Bangladesh and Nepal over the loss of lives in the plane crash.
