KATHMANDU, August 16: The CPN (Maoist Center) has given approval to Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Bamdev Gautam to contest the November 20 parliamentary elections with the hammer and sickle symbol.

Spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara of the Maoist Center said that the standing committee meeting held at the party office Paris Danda on Tuesday decided to allow Bhattarai and Gautam to contest the polls with their election symbol.
