KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Newly-appointed Attorney General Dr Dinmani Pokharel has taken the oath of office and secrecy.

Acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki administered the oath to Dr Pokharel in the presence of President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal amidst a ceremony held today at the President's Office at Sheetal Niwas.
On the recommendation of Prime Minister Dahal, President Bhandari appointed Dr Pokharel as the Attorney General on Wednesday.
