Sidingba Rural Municipality is preparing to organize the Timbu Pokhari fair to promote the tourism of the region. Timbu Pokhari is located at the lap of the Himalayas, bordering Panchthar and Taplejung. The destination also has a prospect of being ranked among the most prominent tourist destination in the country.
Sightseeing, yak viewing, and the presence of multiple ponds are its major attractions. The visitors can indulge not only in the sightseeing of the pond but also take home the experience of witnessing captivating floras, such as Kenzo and Microphylla while hiking.
Timbu Pokhari drawing more tourists
Timbu Pokhari, located at an altitude of 4448 meters above sea level, can be reached by hiking through the Chyangthapu route. To provide ease to the visitors, the locals have also established several resthouses the path.
Timbu Pokhari fair is scheduled from September 7 to 9, stated Nar Bahadur Kadariya, the president of the Sidingba Rural Municipality.
