BIRGUNJ, Aug 19: Superintendent of Police (SP) Suman Thapaliya of Armed Police Force Nepal-13 battalion stationed in Birgunj, Parsa has passed away.

According to sources, Thapaliya died of a heart attack on Saturday. Thapaliya is learnt to be fond of cycling and other physical exercises. He is said to have visited Gadhimai Temple by cycling on Saturday, covering around 60 kilometers.
Parsa SP Komal Bikram Shah confirmed that Thapaliya, 44 died during treatment at Nepal Medicity Vyodha Hospital in Birgunj. His colleagues had rushed him to the hospital after Thapaliya complained of pain in his chest and breathing difficulties.
