Anti-drug campaign targeting upcoming polls

MAHOTTARI, Nov 29: Area Police Office, Bardibas has launched an anti-drug campaign in view of the federal parliamentary and provincial elections scheduled for December 7.

MAHOTTARI, Nov 29: Area Police Office, Bardibas has launched an anti-drug campaign in view of the federal parliamentary and provincial elections scheduled for December 7.



DSP Prabin Pokharel said that Area Police Office, Bardibas has expedited the anti-drug campaign thinking that the drug would influence the upcoming elections.

Under the campaign, a team of police deployed from police post, Hathilet has held a youth at Milan Chowk of Bardibas Municipality-8.


Similarly, the team also arrested Manish Shrestha, 24, of Sindhuli Kamalamai Municipality-8 with Nitrogen capsules while he was coming on a motorbike, Ba 4 Pa 1684.
