All-party meeting at 4PM today, CPN-UML not taking part

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called for an all-party meeting to discuss the ongoing obstruction in parliament and the current political issues at 4PM today. PM Deuba has invited all senior leaders to attend the meeting, according to PM Deuba’s Secretariat.

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called for an all-party meeting to discuss the ongoing obstruction in parliament and the current political issues at 4PM today. PM Deuba has invited all senior leaders to attend the meeting, according to PM Deuba’s Secretariat. 



The main opposition party CPN-UML has been obstructing the proceedings of both houses for a long time. CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had met with PM Deuba on Friday and urged him to convene an all-party meeting with the objective of establishing a consensus among the parties on current political issues of the country and to resume the parliamentary sessions without any obstructions.

Meanwhile, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma OLi will not be attending the meeting, according to a party leader.
