Air Dynasty chopper crash: PM calls an emergency cabinet meeting

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called an emergency Cabinet meeting following the Air Dynasty helicopter crash at Surya Chaur-7 in Nuwakot on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called an emergency Cabinet meeting following the Air Dynasty helicopter crash at Surya Chaur-7 in Nuwakot on Wednesday.



The Air Dynasty helicopter, 9N-AJD, was en route to Rasuwa from Kathmandu when it crashed on Wednesday afternoon. The helicopter took off from Kathmandu at 1:54 PM but lost contact just three minutes after takeoff.

According to DSP Tilak Bharati of the District Police Office, Nuwakot, the bodies of two males, one female and the pilot were recovered from the crash site. One body has not been identified yet as it is charred beyond recognition.
