Renowned Actor Sanu Tamrakar no more

KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Renowned Actor Sanu Tamrakar passed away on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Renowned Actor Sanu Tamrakar passed away on Saturday.



Mohan Niraula, chairman of the Film Artistes Association of Nepal, said that he died during treatment at Norvic Hospital at 3:20 PM on Saturday. The 74-year-old Tamrakar was undergoing treatment for kidney problems for the past 28 days.

Chairman Niraula said that preparations are being made to cremate Tamrakar's body at Pashupati Aryaghat on Sunday.


Sanu Tamrakar was not feeling well after his son Saruk committed suicide on July 6. He was deeply grieved over the death of his only son who had already been making remarkable strides in acting career.
