MORANG, Nov 24: Jeevan Acharya of CPN (Maoist Center) has been elected in Constituency-6 A of Morang.

He defeated CPN-UML candidate Rita Neupane by 1,883 votes and was elected as a member of the provincial assembly.
Acharya won with 19,454 votes. His closest rival, UML's Neupane, got 17,571 votes.
