Aashraya Ranjit wins ‘Best Singer’ award

Kathmandu, Dec 30: Aashraya Ranjit has been awarded as the Best Singer of the ‘District-wide Solo Singing Competition- 2075’. The contest was organized for secondary level students at the premises of Supreme Academy.

Kathmandu, Dec 30: Aashraya Ranjit has been awarded as the Best Singer of the ‘District-wide Solo Singing Competition- 2075’. The contest was organized for secondary level students at the premises of Supreme Academy. 35 students from 24 different schools of the district participated in the competition. Sirshak Bhattarai from Siddhartha Vidyapeeth and Nikhila Basnet from Glad Stone Academy were the first and second runner-up respectively. Famous Nepali Musician, Raju Singh and singer Prasnaa Shakya were the members of the jury for the event.

Ranjit successfully grasped the jury’s heart by singing Karna Das’s song ‘Thula Thula Mahal Hoina’. Principle of Supreme Academy, Birendra Jayana stated that the event was organized with an aim to explore the hidden talents of the students.
