KATHMANDU, April 16: Nepal has confirmed a total of 836 new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
According to the daily update released by the Health Ministry, those cases were detected through 5,537 RT-PCR tests carried out in the past 24 hours.

With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally climbed to 282,890. Of the total infected, 274,812 have gained recovery from the disease.
Nepal also reported four more deaths in the last one day taking the death tally to 3,070.
