DANG, Nov 21: At least 29 people have been injured in a bus accident in Dang district. A total of 29 passengers were injured when a bus heading to Kathmandu from Surkhet met with the accident at Lamahi Municipality-3, Narayanpur, according to the Ward Police Office, Lamahi.

The bus suffered a malfunction and met with an accident at around 2.45 am on Sunday. The injured are undergoing treatment at Lamahi Hospital while seven others have been recommended to Kohalpur for further treatment, police said. The identities of the injured are yet to be revealed, while the bus driver has been taken into custody.
