KATHMANDU, Feb 15: Police have arrested 16 people on the charge of gambling from Tarakeshwor-9 last night.
A police squad led by Metropolitan Police Circle, Balaju chief Ranjit Singh Rathaur arrested them red-handed from a rented room of Dinesh Panta at Shubhakamana Chowk.

Police also confiscated Rs 625 thousand from them.
Circle spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Hobindra Bogati confirmed the arrest of a group of 'gamblers' along with a noticeable amount.
