ILAM, Aug 13: Fourteen children of Ashadeep Boarding School have been injured after their school bus veered around 15 meters off the road. Of those injured, 11 have been referred to Jhapa’s B and C Hospital, according to District Police Office. The remaining three are undergoing treatment at Ilam Hhospital.

The accident took place at Ilam municipality-1, Baghkhor when the school bus, Me 1 Kha 1955 was letting a truck coming from opposite direction to pass by. The bus was heading to the school after picking up students from Ranke that borders Ilam and Pachthar.
Police have held the bus’s driver, Dil Bahadur Magar, 38 of Ilam municipality-1.
