KATHMANDU, July 20: Various 11 political parties have urged the government to manage prompt rescue and relief efforts amidst survivors of flooding and landslides facing hard time post disasters.

KATHMANDU, July 20: Various 11 political parties have urged the government to manage prompt rescue and relief efforts amidst survivors of flooding and landslides facing hard time post disasters.



 Over 60 people were killed, scores others injured and scores have been displaced across the country in landslides and flooding triggered by rains a week ago. At a press conference on Saturday, leaders of Communist Party of Nepal (ML), Jana Samajwadi Party Nepal, Nepal Samajwadi Congress, Nepali Congress (BP) and Janamorcha Party among others univocally slammed the government for its failure to mobilize governmental resources and structures in times of pains the disaster survivors are facing.

 ML's general sectary CP Mainali stressed the need for protesting any sort of interference and hindrance to Nepal's nationality, national dignity, freedom and sovereignty. The parties also demanded an end to prevailing corruption, inflation, insecurity and violence against women. ---
