RAMPUR (PALPA), July 11: A 10 – year – old boy stranded in the middle of the swollen Arun river was rescued after 15 hours this morning.
Rajin Sunari of Mityal Gothdanda in Nisdi rural municipality – 4 was found stranded in the midst of the raging Arun river. He could not be rescued on Monday due to the intensity of the current. He was rescued unharmed at 6 am by a joint team of locals and Rupsebhanjyang Police Post.
Rajin was swimming in the Nartodi river at 3 pm on Monday when a sudden intensity of current swept him to the Arun river. He was swept as far as 200 meters. RSS
