Two COVID-19 patients die at Patan Hospital

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: Two COVID-19 patients have died at the Lalitpur-based Patan Hospital.

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: Two COVID-19 patients have died at the Lalitpur-based Patan Hospital.



According to the hospital, two patients – a male and a female – succumbed to the infection on Friday. "A 41-year-old woman and a 45-year-old male died in the course of treatment today. Both patients were receiving treatment at the ICU of the isolation ward," said Bishnu Prasad Sharma, director at the hospital.

With this, the COVID-19 death toll in Nepal has reached 67.
