BANKE, Nov 9: A person lost his life after being struck by a truck in Kohalpur, Banke. Gorakh Chudara, 31, of Jajarkot's Chhedagad Municipality-11 died when a truck hit him at the Krishi Chowk in Kohalpur on Wednesday evening.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sundar Tiwari, Chief of the Area Police Office, the cargo truck with registration number 001 KHA 2432, which was en route to Kathmandu from Far West, hit Chudara at Krishi Chowk near Prem Nagar, Kohalpur-2. He died on the spot. The truck driver has been apprehended by the police for further investigation.
