GANDAKI, Nov 21: Nepali Congress candidate Namdu Gurung won the election to the province assembly (a) from Mustang.

He secured 1,048 votes while his closest rival Indra Dhara Bista from the CPN (UML) secured 793 votes. A total of 14 votes were invalid. Meanwhile, vote count under the province assembly (b) is still underway.
