China congratulates Bhandari on being re-elected as President

BEIJING, March 14: China has congratulated Bidya Devi Bhandari on being re-elected as President of Nepal for the second-term.

BEIJING, March 14: China has congratulated Bidya Devi Bhandari on being re-elected as President of Nepal.  



According to the spokesperson of the foreign ministry, Lu Kang, China has expressed hope that Nepal would continue to make great achievements under the leadership of Bhandari and the government of Nepal.

"China attaches great importance to Sino-Nepal relations and is willing to work with Nepal to strengthen mutual cooperation to benefit the two countries and peoples", Lu said.


Bhandari has been re-elected as the president for the second term through a parliament vote on Tuesday.
